BIOGRAPHY
Having developed varied practice experience– from plaintiff’s mass and class action work in Texas to insurance defense and estates and trusts here in Oklahoma, Ms. Mitchell brings a unique perspective to her elder law practice. For the past 5 years, she has taken on a special needs planning emphasis while at Barber & Bartz and has loved focusing on vulnerable adults. Gaining an understanding the rules and regulations about social security and Medicaid eligibility has enabled her to help clients craft plans that meet their special and elder needs, family circumstances, and goals.
She is married with two adult children and is a current board member for the National Charity League, Midtown Tulsa Chapter; a former board member of the Junior League of Tulsa and is an active member at First Methodist Church. She is also an ardent supporter of Tulsa Public Schools through the Booker T. Washington Foundation and the BTW Swim Booster Club.
